Insanity Quotes

Insanity is also defined as craziness, barmy, mad and foolish. It is a form of an abnormal mental behavioral pattern, mainly characterized by odd behavior or eccentricities. In today's times, insanity is referred to as a psychological disorder. The word is often mistaken for mental growth but according to medics, insanity means the poor health of the mind. History gives us many pieces of evidence that people with a high intellect can also suffer from insanity.

For example, Pythagoras, who was known as one of the founding fathers of mathematics, also founded a religion in which rules such as refraining from eating beans were imposed. Today, however, in the U.S and many other nations, insanity is not considered a medical condition, but a legal terminology. Although, the legal side of this medical condition is seen to be logical but is being misused by some.

In the court, it is seen as the easiest way to escape criminal conduct and many convicts have even got away behaving like lunatics. In today’s society, it is also used as slang for any social activity that seems to be unadvisable or has no purpose is named as insane.
